Oh My Goodness :: what a whirlwind of emotions these last few months have been!
After the festive season, I went from flatlining in the inspo n’ motivation, to realizing i really need to start looking after myself, to deciding to maybe take a break from businessing ….. to SOMETHING so f.r.e.a.k.i.n.g amazing + N E W to me + you … that ….. the Sparky has come back to Sparky Jones!!!
Now i’m not saying that i won’t be making Nogginware anymore …. but my creative soul has been needing, almost craving something more, something different, more colour + maybe learning some new skillz …. and it wasn’t until i spent time looking at my 6 year old daughter did a little something dawn on moi. Over the past 6 months, i kept thinking, WOW you really aren’t going to get smaller again are you (i concept i seem to struggle with daily!). I felt so much regret that i didn’t make her/them more scrumptious clothing when they still had those deliciously pudgy little legs n’ soft squeezy cheeks.
Then BOO-YAH thats when it ALL hit me!!!!
There’s always been a little drawer in my creative noggin that opens every now + then ever so slightly. Its a vision that involves the most outrageously colourful skirts of all different combinations + patterns + all things that are so adorable that you probably won’t find it ANYWHERE (except in my imagination). The only problem … I’m Nogginware maker! I mean thats what i do right, thats what i’m known for …. i never thought peeps would take me seriously or that i was ready for that extreme league of little people garments. But as i looked at my daughter i thought ACTUALLY Jemima you are ready for this because they don’t get smaller, the years keep speeding on by + one doesn’t want to be a granny with regrets.
So i starting flinging fabrics + combinations together … the SPARKS in my heart n’ soul were firing. Then once i starting drafting + stitching up little mock ups - i realized how silly i was to think i wasn’t good enough … i’ve always triple stitched my goods to withstand a bomb + gail force winds (i little gene i inherited from me pops) + really this whole time i was wanting to create something that captures how imaginatively colourful n’ quirky little peeps are … which i wasn’t able to find anywhere! … so ultimately …. hello i just made my own league!

1 - 2 years. {Skirt Length 7 1/2”}
2 - 4 years. {Skirt Length 8” }
4 - 6 years. {Skirt Length 9 1/2”}
NB // due to the nature of the comfy waistbands + the gathering of the skirt - the fitting + sizes are very relaxed. The length is probably the key measurement if any needed to be taken or of concern, but Juni can be worn high or low, tucked in or worn under other garments such as blouses + T’s.
